Welcome to Cross Hill Church!

Beginning with a desire to serve the Lewisburg community, a small group from Grove Hill Church in Chapel Hill started gathering in May 2024 to pray about a church launch. God faithfully provided an experienced pastor, an elder ready to lead, faithful servants who volunteered their time and talents, and an official location. Cross Hill Church began meeting at Westhills Elementary School on October 20, 2024.

What to Expect

We are excited to welcome you to our church! We are still in our soft launch phase and currently meet in an elementary school, which means Sunday mornings look a little different than a traditional church. Here’s what to expect when you join us for worship:

  • Navigation—As you arrive, look for signs directing you to park and enter the building. Our greeters will welcome and guide you. Our sanctuary is in the school gym, and a nursery is conveniently located next door in the cafeteria, sectioned off with privacy curtains.

  • Worship—Our worship services are typically acoustic, ranging from modern worship songs to traditional hymns.

  • Teaching—Our pastor delivers an expository message, taking the time to walk through Scripture verse by verse, offering thoughtful and insightful teaching.

  • Children's Church—During worship, children from pre-K through 2nd grade are dismissed to a classroom for children's church, where they engage in age-appropriate Biblical teaching and activities.
